Being a Kappa means there’s never a dull moment. There’s always something happening, and honestly, that’s one of my favorite parts. Whether it’s a casual barbecue where everyone’s just relaxing and catching up, or a surprisingly intense game night that turns way more competitive than expected, there’s truly something for everyone. I love how our siblinghood events give us the chance to either jump right in or just enjoy being around our people.

And when it comes to mixers, we don’t do anything halfway. The themed nights are always a highlight — everyone fully commits, which makes it so much more fun. Dressing up and seeing how creative people get is half the excitement, and somehow those are always the nights we end up talking about for weeks after.

Our philanthropy events are another reason I’m so proud to be part of this sisterhood. So much effort goes into planning them, and when the whole chapter shows up ready to participate, it’s the best feeling. There’s something really special about coming together for something bigger than ourselves, even if it does get a little competitive along the way.

And of course, we clean up pretty well too. Formals are always such a good time: getting dressed up, taking pictures with your best friends, and ending the night on a packed dance floor. It’s the perfect mix of classy and carefree. I’m so excited for everything that’s still to come. If the past events are any indication, the best memories are definitely still ahead.
